Lower Extremity Arterial Duplex Ultrasound

UltrasoundVascularduplex ultrasoundlower extremityarterialdoppler

Structured template for bilateral lower extremity arterial duplex ultrasound with Doppler assessment and peak systolic velocity measurements

Last updated:

Title

Lower Extremity Arterial Duplex Ultrasound

Clinical History

Patient-specific — populated from user input at report time. Shows "None" if not provided.

Comparison

No prior studies available for comparison.

Technique

Multiple grayscale, pulse wave and color Doppler images were obtained of the lower extremity arterial system. Selected static images were presented to the radiologist.

Findings

Assessment of bilateral lower extremity arterial system demonstrates normal antegrade color flow and pulse wave characteristics.
Right Common Femoral Artery: Normal antegrade color flow and pulse wave. No evidence of thrombosis, occlusion, or significant stenosis.
Right Proximal Superficial Femoral Artery: Normal antegrade color flow and pulse wave. No evidence of thrombosis, occlusion, or significant stenosis.
Right Mid Superficial Femoral Artery: Normal antegrade color flow and pulse wave. No evidence of thrombosis, occlusion, or significant stenosis.
Right Distal Superficial Femoral Artery: Normal antegrade color flow and pulse wave. No evidence of thrombosis, occlusion, or significant stenosis.
Right Popliteal Artery: Normal antegrade color flow and pulse wave. No evidence of thrombosis, occlusion, or significant stenosis.
Right Anterior Tibial Artery: Normal antegrade color flow and pulse wave. No evidence of thrombosis, occlusion, or significant stenosis.
Right Posterior Tibial Artery: Normal antegrade color flow and pulse wave. No evidence of thrombosis, occlusion, or significant stenosis.
Right Peroneal Artery: Normal antegrade color flow and pulse wave. No evidence of thrombosis, occlusion, or significant stenosis.
Right Dorsalis Pedis Artery: Normal antegrade color flow. No evidence of thrombosis or occlusion.
Left Common Femoral Artery: Normal antegrade color flow and pulse wave. No evidence of thrombosis, occlusion, or significant stenosis.
Left Proximal Superficial Femoral Artery: Normal antegrade color flow and pulse wave. No evidence of thrombosis, occlusion, or significant stenosis.
Left Mid Superficial Femoral Artery: Normal antegrade color flow and pulse wave. No evidence of thrombosis, occlusion, or significant stenosis.
Left Distal Superficial Femoral Artery: Normal antegrade color flow and pulse wave. No evidence of thrombosis, occlusion, or significant stenosis.
Left Popliteal Artery: Normal antegrade color flow and pulse wave. No evidence of thrombosis, occlusion, or significant stenosis.
Left Anterior Tibial Artery: Normal antegrade color flow and pulse wave. No evidence of thrombosis, occlusion, or significant stenosis.
Left Posterior Tibial Artery: Normal antegrade color flow and pulse wave. No evidence of thrombosis, occlusion, or significant stenosis.
Left Peroneal Artery: Normal antegrade color flow and pulse wave. No evidence of thrombosis, occlusion, or significant stenosis.
Left Dorsalis Pedis Artery: Normal antegrade color flow. No evidence of thrombosis or occlusion.
Peak Systolic Velocities - Right: Peak systolic velocities measured at standard intervals along the right lower extremity arterial system.
Peak Systolic Velocities - Left: Peak systolic velocities measured at standard intervals along the left lower extremity arterial system.

Impression

Bilateral lower extremity arterial duplex ultrasound demonstrates normal antegrade flow throughout the arterial system with no evidence of significant stenosis, occlusion, or thrombosis.
