Title

MRI Shoulder Without Contrast

Clinical History

Patient-specific — populated from user input at report time. Shows "None" if not provided.

Comparison

No prior studies available for comparison.

Technique

Multiplanar MRI images of the shoulder were obtained without intravenous contrast.

Findings

Comprehensive evaluation of the shoulder demonstrates normal rotator cuff tendons and muscles, normal glenohumeral joint, and normal surrounding structures.
Supraspinatus Tendon: Normal supraspinatus tendon without tendinosis, surface fraying, or focal tear.
Supraspinatus Muscle: Normal supraspinatus muscle without atrophy or edema.
Rotator Cuff Interval: Normal rotator cuff interval.
Infraspinatus Tendon: Normal infraspinatus tendon without tendinosis, surface fraying, or focal tear.
Infraspinatus Muscle: Normal infraspinatus muscle without edema or atrophy.
Subscapularis Tendon: Normal subscapularis tendon without tendinosis, surface fraying, or focal tear.
Subscapularis Muscle: Normal subscapularis muscle without edema or atrophy.
Teres Minor Tendon: Normal teres minor tendon without tendinosis, surface fraying, or focal tear.
Teres Minor Muscle: Normal teres minor muscle without edema or atrophy.
Deltoid Muscle: Normal deltoid muscle without edema or atrophy.
Long Bicipital Tendon: Normal long bicipital tendon within the bicipital groove without subluxation, attenuation, or tearing. Normal intracapsular segment of the long bicipital tendon. Normal reflective pulley.
Humeral Head and Proximal Humerus: Normal humeral head and visualized proximal humerus without bone contusion, fracture, or avascular necrosis.
Glenohumeral Joint: Normal glenohumeral articulation without labral tear or osseous Bankart lesion. Normal capsulolabral-ligamentous complex.
Axillary Recess: Normal axillary recess without secondary signs of adhesive capsulitis.
Coracoacromial Arch: Normal coracoacromial arch with normal acromioclavicular joint. No stenosis of the subacromial space.
Acromion: The undersurface of the acromion is normal.
Ligaments: Normal visualized coracohumeral, coracoacromial, and coracoclavicular ligaments.
Glenohumeral Joint Effusion: No glenohumeral joint effusion.
Bursae: No subacromial-subdeltoid or subcoracoid bursitis.
Intra-articular Bodies: No intra-articular osteochondral loose bodies.
Soft Tissues: No soft tissue masses. Normal subcutis adipose space.
Quadrilateral Space: Normal quadrilateral space.

Impression

No acute abnormality identified. Normal rotator cuff with intact tendons and muscles. Normal glenohumeral joint. Normal supporting structures.
