Title
MRI Foot
Clinical History
Patient-specific — populated from user input at report time. Shows "None" if not provided.
Comparison
No prior studies available for comparison.
Technique
Multiplanar MRI images of the foot were obtained without intravenous contrast.
Findings
Detailed evaluation of the foot structures is provided below.
Osseous Structures - Metatarsals and Phalanges:
Normal bone marrow and cortical signal of the metatarsals and phalanges without fracture, periostitis, erosions, or reactive bone edema.
Tarsal Bones:
Normal signal intensity of the visualized distal tarsal row without fracture, periostitis, erosions, or reactive bone edema.
Sesamoids:
Normal signal intensity of the sesamoids without sesamoiditis, fracture, or avascular necrosis.
Joint Spaces and Articulations:
Normal joint spaces without effusions. Normal capsular structures and plantar plates. No extra-osseous fluid collections. Normal Chopart and Lisfranc joints.
Lisfranc Ligament:
Normal Lisfranc ligament without disruption or edema.
Intermetatarsal Spaces:
Normal intermetatarsal spaces without intermetatarsal neuroma or bursitis.
Flexor and Extensor Tendons:
Normal visualized flexor and extensor tendons without tenosynovitis or tear.
Tibialis Tendons:
Normal visualized distal anterior and posterior tibialis tendons without tenosynovitis or tear.
Peroneal Tendons:
Normal visualized distal peroneus longus and brevis tendons without tenosynovitis or tear.
Plantar Fascia:
Normal plantar fascia without fasciitis, fibromatosis, or tear.
Intrinsic Muscles:
Normal signal intensity of the intrinsic muscles of the forefoot without soft tissue masses or denervation atrophy.
Subcutaneous Tissues:
Normal subcutaneous adipose space without edema, masses, or abnormal collections.
Impression
No acute abnormality identified on MRI of the foot.
