Title
Transcranial Brain Ultrasound
Clinical History
Patient-specific — populated from user input at report time. Shows "None" if not provided.
Comparison
No prior studies available for comparison.
Technique
Realtime ultrasound scanning of the brain was performed via the anterior fontanelle.
Findings
Comprehensive ultrasound evaluation of the intracranial contents via fontanelle access.
Cerebral Parenchyma:
The cerebral parenchyma is normal without evidence of focal lesions, hemorrhage, or abnormal echotexture.
Ventricular System:
The lateral ventricles, third ventricle, and fourth ventricle are normal in size and configuration without evidence of dilatation or structural abnormalities.
Intracranial Hemorrhage:
No evidence of intracranial hemorrhage.
Congenital Anomalies:
No evidence of congenital anomalies.
Intracranial Calcifications:
No intracranial calcifications identified.
Extra-axial Fluid Space:
No significant widening of the extra-axial fluid space.
Midline Structures:
Midline structures including the falx cerebri and tentorium cerebelli are normally positioned.
Posterior Fossa:
The posterior fossa structures including the cerebellum and brainstem are normal in appearance and position.
Impression
Normal transcranial brain ultrasound.
