Clinical History

Patient-specific — populated from user input at report time. Shows "None" if not provided.

Comparison

No prior studies available for comparison.

Technique

Multiple grayscale, pulse wave and color Doppler images were obtained of the upper extremity venous system. Compressibility of accessible vessels was assessed.

Findings

Evaluation of the upper extremity venous system is presented below.
Internal Jugular Vein: Normal antegrade color flow is demonstrated. Good compressibility is present. No abnormal internal echoes are identified.
Subclavian Vein: Normal antegrade color flow and pulse waves are demonstrated. No abnormal internal echoes are identified.
Axillary Vein: Normal antegrade color flow and pulse waves are demonstrated. No abnormal internal echoes are identified.
Brachial Vein: Normal antegrade color flow and pulse waves are demonstrated. No abnormal internal echoes are identified.
Adjacent Soft Tissues: The visualized adjacent soft tissue structures are unremarkable.
