Technique

TECHNIQUE: CT of the knee were obtained without IV contrast. Images were reformatted and reviewed in axial, coronal and sagittal projections.

Findings

There is no evidence of a fracture. The joint spaces are maintained. There are no soft tissue masses. Normal muscle groups of the visualized distal thigh and proximal leg, without edema or atrophy. Normal subcutaneous adipose tissue space. There is no joint effusion, popliteal cyst or periarticular bursitis. There are no intra-articular osteochondral bodies.
